David is a Researcher with over a decade of experience working as a professional genealogist . He is experienced in New England, French Canadian, Irish, Portuguese, and French research. He is particularly interested in the 19th and early 20th Century, immigrant experience.
David received a BA in European History and International Relations at Boston University, and a MEd from the University of Massachusetts-Boston. He also received a certificate in genealogical studies from Boston University, and is a graduate of the ProGen Study Group 54.
David has worked as a bookseller in Boston for over 30 years, managing a general used bookstore in Kenmore Square for 22 years, and as a rare book researcher and cataloger since 2014. He has been a professional musician touring the United States and Europe for 40 years. These days he spends most of his time playing music with friends, laughing at the strange behavior of his two cats, Rasmus and Roscoe, and traveling with his wife, Annika.
David volunteered and worked for the New England Historic genealogical Society for three years. He joined Legacy Tree Genealogists in April 2025.
