An Atlanta native, Robert has been a professional genealogist since 2020 and has researched his own ancestry from the age of 12. With a strong desire to find answers to genealogy mysteries, he is a dedicated researcher who leaves no stone unturned using both traditional and DNA research to break down brick walls.
Education and Training
Robert holds a certificate in Genealogical Research from Boston University and is a graduate of ProGen 58. He also received a Bachelors from Furman University and Masters from the University of Georgia
Specialties
Robert has several research specialties. As a member of Legacy Tree’s DNA team, he enjoys unraveling complex family mysteries using a combination of genetic (DNA research) and documentary evidence. He also specializes in US South and New England Research.
When not doing genealogy, he can often be found playing piano and composing music.
