Rachel has been a professional genealogist since 2018 and has explored her personal family history for over two decades.
She is a graduate of the University of Guelph with a Master of Science degree in a genetics-related field.

Her specialties include European Genealogy Research (immigrant communities from Germany, Poland, Ukraine, and Hungary), and French Canadian Genealogy.
Experience
Rachel enjoys tackling brick-wall research projects. She researches throughout North America and specializes in European immigrant communities in the eastern and midwestern United States, as well as the Canadian prairies. She also has extensive experience in French Canadian research, with many of her own ancestors arriving in New France in the mid-1600s.
Rachel loves exceeding client expectations and providing answers to long-standing family mysteries. Rachel joined Legacy Tree Genealogists in 2023 after several years of working with genealogy clients at community archives. She has advanced degrees in a genetics-related field, and is deeply passionate about sharing her knowledge and experience. She is a proud mum to an adventurous toddler, and spends her weekends on the family farm.
